“Le falta mantenimiento!”
The hostel has the potential to be excellent; the structure is solid, but it needs a lot of maintenance in the kitchen, common areas, and bathrooms. If more money were invested, it could be a 20/10 because it has great potential—just attention to details would make it superb. The bathrooms are a bit neglected; they don’t provide sheets on the bed, so you have to sleep directly on the blanket, which isn’t washed. The kitchen is disorganized. Fixing these small things would make it a top choice for staying in Addis. Please invest in this property; it’s very good!

The staff were friendly, the place was nice, and the location was good.

The hostel is well kept. It’s close to the airport, but the city center is a bit far. Taxis are cheap, though I didn’t use local buses or vans; you can find them near the hostel, but you’ll need to ask locals for directions to the city center. Getting back from the city to the hostel can be hard by public transport, so I used a taxi for the return. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean, but note that they change the sheets and covers after checkout, yet the thick coverlet often stays the same or is sometimes not changed—this is common in budget accommodation across African countries. If you care, bring your own sleeping bag. Nothing else to complain about.
