We were thrilled by the historic character of the property, and the owners’ warmth and generosity were outstanding—they even gave us a tour of the Post Office and gardens. The bed was super comfortable and the ensuite was a big plus. Nothing negative.

Michelle and Paul went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—two glasses of prosecco with a strawberry in each was a fantastic welcome. Breakfast supplies and fruit were all set out in our own sitting room. The bedroom was roomy, the bed cozy, and the bathroom modern with a separate bath and shower. No complaints.

A very nice, quiet rural setting, close to National Trust attractions and plenty of walking trails.
