Breakfast was outstanding! The shower wasn't very clean and looked old.

Our overall experience at Hotel Telč was okay, but there are a few things we wish we had known beforehand. First, parking is not directly at the hotel. There is a parking lot about a 5-minute walk away, and the route includes cobblestone streets. If you have large or heavy luggage, this is definitely something to keep in mind. The biggest issue for us was the room situation. When we booked , the app showed us a different, larger room. When we arrived at Hotel Telč, we were given the keys there, but we were actually staying at a different property about a 3-minute walk away. The room there was small, and the bathroom walls and door were relatively see-through, which we didn’t find very comfortable. Since we had our large suitcases in the car at the parking lot, we went back to Hotel Telč and asked if it was possible to stay in the actual hotel instead. We also didn’t feel the room we had been given was a good fit for us. They were able to move us to the hotel itself for an additional €30, which was appreciated. We got the last available room, on the top floor, so getting our luggage upstairs was a bit of a struggle. The room at the actual Hotel Telč was much better for us. Comfortable, with a clean and quiet bathroom. Breakfast was okay. Overall, our stay was fine, but we would recommend checking very carefully which room and which property you are actually booking, especially if booking . And if you’re traveling with large luggage, be prepared for the walk from the parking lot and the possibility of stairs. A little preparation beforehand would have made our arrival much easier

A truly authentic hotel located in the Old Town of the beautiful city of Telč. Staying in a historic building was a fascinating experience. The interiors of the hotel and the rooms harmonize perfectly with the building's historic character. The rooms were spacious, well-furnished, and very comfortable—and the beds were superb. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, doing their utmost to make you feel right at home. Many thanks for that, and all the best! I would also like to mention the beautiful town of Telč itself, of course. It has a very cozy and pleasant historic old town. We had a wonderful experience and felt right at home there. I am simply writing this as background information; it is not a complaint against the hotel, but rather a reflection of my own superficial preliminary research. Since we traveled by car, we had to contend with certain circumstances (or inconveniences, depending on one's perspective) : 1. There is no parking available at the hotel. You can park in a public paid parking lot Svatoanenská 76, located about 250 meters away; it seems safe and reasonably priced. However, it is possible to drive right up to the hotel for a brief stop to load or unload luggage. 2. The hotel does not have an elevator, which is perfectly understandable, given that the building is a protected historical architectural monument. However, if you have heavy and bulky luggage, hauling suitcases up to the upper floors via narrow staircases can be a significant physical exertion. I would like to highlight once again the helpfulness of the hotel owners and staff. When they noticed us starting to carry our suitcases down as we were leaving the hotel, they helped us get them to the car in no time. Respect !
