The hotel is almost in the historic center (within walking distance), yet very quiet and not many people (at least when I arrived), there are shops, a bank, etc. nearby. The staff are friendly and Russian-speaking, the food is tasty, and the air‑conditioning works like a beast. There are traces of former luxury and a design that feels a bit worn, but overall it’s still livable.

The bed is very soft and comfortable. The bath and toilet need to be renovated.
