The breakfast was great to start the day, and the rooms were clean and comfortable; the location isn’t ideal, but after a few visits I’ve gotten used to it.

Everything is within walking distance—restaurants, bars, a mall, Walmart, Lowe’s, a running trail, and more—plus a view of a lake; the room is equipped and a good size.

The place was nice and clean, and there was nothing to complain about.

The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good, and the hotel offered everything you could possibly need; the second receptionist on the 3‑11 shift was super sweet and gave us an extra bottled water right away. We were traveling with my parents, so we booked two rooms. The room I chose smelled of old mold and wetness and was super‑hot; the thermostat read 60 but the temperature was 77 degrees. My parents’ room was fine. When we went to the front desk they switched us rooms, and the new one was perfect. A blower fan was running in the hallway, and a worker mentioned they had just shampooed the carpet, but it still smelled like mildew, as if a flood had occurred. The property is surrounded by everything, but to reach it you had to drive around; almost everything was blocked off. The lake in front of the property required walking all the way to the main road and around to enter, and the gates were locked but could have been accessed more easily. The staff is what usually makes or breaks a visit for me: the first receptionist—probably the day shift—was not very friendly at all; she didn’t smile or greet you as one would expect in a customer‑service role.

The place is clean and the staff are friendly, but there is only one way in and out to reach the hotel.
