“Excellent.”

A solo traveller training in Bangtao found the place an excellent bargain; the room was spotless, the AC kept it cool, and the fully equipped kitchen let me cook on my own. The owners were friendly and helped arrange bike rentals, so I’d gladly stay again. My stay was very brief, though.

The staff were always eager to help and improve the stay, so I’d definitely return. The mattress was a spring type and sometimes uncomfortable depending on the position.

“Quiet Location, Basic Amenities”

The remote setting, which many might view as a drawback, was actually perfect for me because it was quiet and away from tourist crowds. The staff were consistently friendly and I felt at ease. Walking left toward the main road, you’ll find plenty of inexpensive local food spots where the locals dine. The equipment was low‑quality and several basics were missing—soap, shampoo, a hand towel, and a second roll of toilet paper—which are standard elsewhere.

The price‑to‑quality ratio was appealing, which encouraged me to extend my holiday by another month. Everything was modest, clean, and tidy. I’d like a more comfortable bed—specifically a more comfortable mattress—since a short stay is fine, but a longer stay of 30 nights becomes a bit uncomfortable.
