Family rooms accommodate up to four guests, making it ideal for stopovers and children. A paid breakfast buffet is served each morning. Nuremberg centre lies 20 minutes away; the exhibition grounds are 30 minutes, Erlangen centre 15 minutes.

Good parking, coffee machine and a drink, snack and sweet dispenser, but breakfast was a big let‑down: the selection was very limited – only cheese, ham, bread and a bit of fruit were offered, no hot breakfast items like eggs or sausages, and no sweet pastries at all.

I love how close the hotel is to the motorway and the parking is spacious, but you have to pay €5 separately – you can’t do that through booking – and there’s no fridge in the room, which would have been handy for keeping food and water cold for a next‑day trip.
