The service, friendliness, cleanliness, and comfort were all exceptional, but the lack of proper road signage, the unavailability of phones and heaters in the apartments, and the very high nightly rate compared to other tourist options in the village were disappointing.

Domingos and Marisa are incredibly kind and attentive, and the rest of the staff—especially Vitória, the couple’s daughter—are welcoming and chatty; everyone is genuinely hospitable, and there’s nothing to complain about.

The place is beautifully kept, the location is great and the staff are wonderful, plus the food really stands out, but after only two days I noticed the room hadn’t been cleaned and the towels stayed soggy because of the forest‑like humidity – a simple request would have fixed it.

The owners, Domingos and Marisa, offered outstanding service, paying close attention to every detail and preparing special, delicious lunch and dinner for us; they truly deserve praise.
