The place was convenient, the key used a code system, and the two‑floor lobby felt safe. The exterior looked like an old building, the elevators were slow with lots of people, and the area was crowded.

Despite staying for five nights, the room was never cleaned.

I stay at this hostel often and have built a good rapport with the staff; it’s very close to the markets. The location is also near the shopping market, food vendors, the train station, and the airport bus.

The Filipino male cleaner had a serious, unfriendly attitude all the time. When we were fifteen minutes late at checkout, he appeared at our door with a mop and bucket while we were still packing, turned away with a grim expression, and seemed unhappy that we were still there. The water pressure was low, so showering in the cold was a bit of a problem.
