Wir hatten, da wir spontan unseren Aufenthalt in der Stadt verlängerten und unser vorheriges Zimmer schon vermietet war, das Glück in beiden Hälften des Hauses einmal untergekommen zu sein. Bei dieser Unterkunft handelte es sich sogar um eine ganze Wohnung, mit Küche, privatem Balkon und zwei Schlafzimmern. Die Wohnung war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. So viel Platz hatten wir (zumal zu diesem Preis!) auf unserer Reise selten. Hier kann man auch sehr gut länger bleiben

The apartment was lovely, with an amazing view and a prime location—less than a 10‑minute walk to the main bazaar and restaurant district. A WhatsApp video guide was incredibly useful because finding the place by car is tricky. Melina greeted us and offered restaurant recommendations. The place was well equipped: a coffee machine with capsules and bottled water already in the fridge upon arrival. The side balcony was great for breakfast and the in‑room clothes dryer was handy. The AC worked well. The rooftop terrace, though basic, had chairs and a table and offered lovely evening views of the old town. We enjoyed Gjyrokaster, and the castle, Zekate house, Cold War bunker, and a day pass at Kerculla resort were highlights. The old town has many excellent restaurants. The Market Bazaar supermarket is a 5‑minute walk, useful for basics, and the owner was very helpful, giving us wine and recipe tips. A slip hazard existed on the balcony due to water from an air‑con overflow pipe, making the tiles slippery; we had to place a bottle over the pipe. It would be useful to have a place to hang clothes in the main bedroom and perhaps two door keys for two couples staying.

The apartment is fantastic, spacious, and very well located near the grand bazaar. The owner uses a WhatsApp video call to guide us to the parking spot, which is otherwise impossible to find alone because GPS gives only wrong directions. The terrace attached to the kitchen is perfect for morning coffee, while the floor‑level terrace is larger but in full sun, making it almost unusable for breakfast. Nothing else to note.
