“Client arnaqué et furieux !”

We were denied the accommodation altogether; the host texted us that she could no longer rent the room, yet we were still charged the booking amount. She tried to get our bank details supposedly to refund us, which we refused. We filed a complaint with the local police against her and Booking to get our money back. We informed Booking by email on 4 July and have not heard back. We paid €49.55 for the apartment, €100 for a taxi because we had to walk to the GR120, and €149.58 for a last‑minute place, totaling €299.13. Please tell us what to do next. Thank you.

The house was small and stank. On the morning of departure, no one was there.

The location was great and the old building was quirky. Celine was a lovely host and we enjoyed a nice breakfast. A bedside lamp would have been nice.
