Very pleasant hotel and a definitely nice stay on Cat Ba. 😊 The breakfasts are a huge plus—an extensive selection of fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs and basically everything you’d expect for a good start to the day, even though the hotel was very lightly occupied. Everyone will find something they like. Huge thanks to the lady at the reception—wonderful, competent and very helpful. She really went out of her way to make sure everything was in order and that we felt well taken care of. That kind of guest‑focused approach makes a huge difference. ❤️ The only small drawback is the distance to the beach—it’s a bit farther, but if you have healthy legs a walk is definitely worthwhile. 😉 Overall very positive impressions and I would gladly return.

The hotel was just okay—aging but still clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly, but I had to swap rooms because the door wouldn’t shut unless locked, and the fan was extremely loud.

The location was good, but the hotel felt a bit old‑fashioned, built in the 1950s, and the breakfast was mediocre.
