1 double bed
The staff were very available and picked us up at the bus stop at 23:00 because the taxi line was full. The room had no fridge, the bed felt a bit hard, and sometimes the surroundings were noisy.
The staff included a very kind woman who was always there if you needed help. The bed was too hard.
“Très plaisant”
Nopamas and her friend who runs the place are super friendly and give all the information we need— excellent service. Thank you both. A small fridge was missing from the room, but she let me use hers, which was fine.
“This experience upset me and made my girlfriend cry.”
The place isn’t far from Phra Nakhon Khiri, and the bedroom floor was clean. However, opening the bedroom door led into an open space where mosquitoes could roam (see photo). There was a western‑style toilet without a flush system; it came with a bucket and bowl to pour water down. The towel was thin and didn’t dry well. The double bed was large but came with two separate, thin, small blankets. The worst part was that when we returned at midnight, there was no water. We felt desperate and wanted to move to another hotel, but it was midnight and we didn’t want to sleep on the street, so we stayed without a shower. The next morning we checked out early and asked for a refund, but they said because we had stayed one night and still hadn’t showered due to the lack of water, we had to pay for that night. They only offered 320 baht to replace the 450 baht for the night we didn’t stay. This negotiation happened between me and a nine‑year‑old, both using translation apps on our phones. I didn’t see her parents. We left on a bus for Bangkok and couldn’t shower for 24 hours, and I had to leave the toilet full of my diarrhoea.
It’s great. I had a private room with AC and a balcony. There’s a rooftop— not skyhigh, but nice. I borrowed a bike for free. The place is clean, and street noise doesn’t bother me.
