The Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge in Canmore offers hot tub and sauna access, mountain views, and flat-screen TVs in every room. Non-smoking rooms feature air conditioning, refrigerators, and some have full kitchens and gas fireplaces. Ski and bike storage, lift passes, picnic area, playground, and laundry facilities are available. Located near Banff National Park, Canmore Golf and Curling Club, and Canmore Museum.

The location is great on the outskirts of Canmore, with parking directly in front of the room, friendly and helpful staff, a very large room with two beds, extra washcloth, a shower and toilet in one space, a wardrobe in the entrance, and a microwave plus kettle. There was no nightstand on one side of the bed for storage, and the spa area consisted only of a small whirlpool overlooking the parking lot, which was always full.

The ambiance was pleasant. The environment and staff were not.

The place was well situated, and the hot tub was a nice feature even though it had no bubbles; the sauna was also broken, just to note. The staff were always polite. Taking a large deposit for a room that clearly needed renovation was not appreciated; the sheet had come off the mattress and the mattress underneath was completely filthy. The price seemed very expensive for the quality of the facilities.
