“Greit opphold i stor og funksjonell leilighet”

It’s easy to find the hotel, and the large free parking is definitely a plus. The apartment we stayed in was large and functional. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The beds were good. It’s quiet and calm in the apartment even though it’s a short walk to the city center. Breakfast was served only on weekends. As compensation we got the apartment at the same price so we could take care of ourselves. Unfortunately it was very difficult to get the stove to work, so two out of four times I gave up. There could have been a little more cutlery and tableware. Especially the lack of egg cups was a miss. It was also a bit cold in the apartment. There was no possibility to eat dinner at the hotel since we stayed there, but it was probably a bit off‑season.

“Alt i alt noen fine dager, vi kommer tilbake.”

The location was spot on for getting to the city center without a car, close to family and shops—right in the middle of the action. I didn’t mind the accommodation much, but for us the bed was a bit high for the wheelchair user, so we fixed it by removing the extra mattress and with my help getting into bed. The toilet handles don’t work; they should be wall‑mounted with floor support. The wheelchair user couldn’t get into the bathroom alone because the door handle was awkward, but we managed it with my help. There was no HC parking at the hotel’s lot, and we were lucky to find a spot right by the entrance almost every time we needed to park near the hotel.

“Langt under middel”

If I absolutely had to write something positive, the size of the room was fine, and the hotel was easy to get to. The staff; generally absent. At check‑in it seemed like the receptionist didn’t care to be there. We got absolutely no information about parking, breakfast or anything else. In fact it seemed as if we were bothering her. We had booked two nights and no cleaning was done, used coffee cups and glasses were left. The coffee machine wasn’t refilled. There was insane noise, and since there’s a shop in the same building we enjoyed a lot of people shopping and especially their shouting. Everything happening in the hallway could be heard in the room. Breakfast was far below average. The beds were raised, so you almost had to jump up.

“Bra vistelse och vi är nöjda. Bra även med närhet till restauranger i "byn".”

The rooms were good and the breakfast was nice, giving a perfect start for nice days on the slopes. A couple of suggestions: the reception staff could stay a bit longer in the mornings and evenings for a more personal touch, and perhaps a sauna or mini‑spa that can be booked or rented for a few hours would be nice.

The spot is great for both town and mountain, with a free ski bus. The room/apartment was warm and comfortable with a good bed, the reception area was nice and the staff were very helpful. There was no disruptive noise and breakfast was good. However, the apartment didn’t feel like a high‑standard place and I wouldn’t call it a 3‑star; it’s more like a 2‑star. The apartment had many small faults and poor lighting in the bedrooms. The wall light in the lounge/kitchen didn’t work because the lead didn’t reach the socket, so it was just decorative. There were just enough pots but not enough oven dishes, baking trays or oven gloves. The dishwasher worked but didn’t clean well. The fan on the oven was extremely noisy at startup, though the oven itself worked. It felt expensive for the standard I experienced.
