Well kept and staff friendly. It felt muggy and wet—almost like you couldn’t breathe. I got the worst sleep because of the humid conditions.

Location fine and the hotel very clean. I was in town for a concert and when we returned at 11:15, we wanted a drink, but on a Friday night the bar was closed. For the amount I was charged for the night, over $600, I expected a little more effort on their part.

The hotel is a sleek, modern spot right on the lake in downtown Columbia, and it’s a stone’s throw from the Merriweather Post Pavilion—just 1/2 mile away. Walking is possible, but they also offer a free shuttle to the events. The price felt steep, especially since I booked on short notice.

The location is great and the rooms are spotless. The price, however, is on the higher side.
