“Overleefd”

Parking was possible in the garden and the balcony offered a nice view. We arrived very late in the evening, there was no light, no staff present, and no other guests. I had to turn on the lights myself, pick up the key, and find the room. The bathroom was not very hygienic. There was no fridge or other appliances. Throughout the night we heard a lot of barking from stray dogs.

The property is in a very isolated spot, in a quiet area free of annoying noise. The staff are a family, very helpful and hospitable (they even invited us to dinner with a barbecue). The room was nice. Overall it was a very positive experience. Even though sometimes there were language issues, they did their best to understand us and meet our needs. The location is far from main services (e.g., places to eat or shops for groceries), so we thought the price was a bit high. The room cleaning could have been a bit more thorough, but it was still acceptable.

Good welcome, but the shower water swings from cold to hot and back, so you can’t keep a steady temperature. It’s a shame there’s no stove.

“Perfect spot along the Danube”

We liked everything. The Danube location is perfect, with an ideal landing and starting spot right by the sign for km 894 for paddlers. The rooms are large and very clean. Since there’s no restaurant within reach for people without a car, you can book dinner and breakfast if you wish. We had both and the food was excellent. The owner is a very kind and caring person who helped us a lot. We will return here to continue our personal travel on the Danube. Nothing else.

The establishment is very well equipped and well designed, the terraces are pleasant, kitchen available. It lacks air‑conditioning in the room and a way to cook in the kitchen.
