“I spent quite a bit of money for substandard accomodations and rude staff members. Disappointing”
I was thrilled with the location and the hotel stayed very quiet even at night. I have to give special thanks to Ms Paige, the housekeeper, who rushed to help me after I’d waited almost two hours for a room. Being disabled, she assisted with my bags and even brought a chair so I could wait comfortably while she cleaned. She did an amazing job. When I arrived, my room wasn’t ready and I had to wait nearly two hours despite having a reservation. Only one housekeeper was on duty that day. The first room I was shown was dirty, so Ms Paige started cleaning it but found mold in the bathroom and moved me to another room. That one was also dirty, but Ms Paige cleaned it. The headboard on one bed was hanging off the wall, the outlet between the beds had no cover, and roaches were crawling around, so I had to buy bug spray. The TV had only a few channels and the sink was clogged. I took photos. The worst part was the day before I was leaving: I left the door slightly open for fresh air, and a hotel employee (name unknown) entered my room and told me I couldn’t leave it open because of a safety issue. She then asked me, “What happened to the headboard?” I told her it was that way when I arrived, and I showed her the photos. I felt insulted by her attitude. I spent a lot of money for substandard accommodation and rude staff. I was very disappointed because I’d stayed there before and it was a nice place. I don’t know what happened.
