“Nice and comfortable hotel”

I was greeted by very kind staff and stayed in a nice, comfortable room—nothing else to add.

“Super stay, great location”

The breakfast offered a good selection, and the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable; my bedroom overlooked the walled garden and had a balcony, giving a fantastic view of the sites. Walking to the sights, great restaurants, and the train station was easy. However, for the price it felt a bit basic, the sliding bathroom door to the bedroom wouldn’t close properly so people could see in unless the blinds were down, and the shower would overflow onto the bathroom floor each time, making it very slippery until the towels were used to mop it up.

We felt very at home in this traditional Italian building with a charming back garden, and the family staff were lovely. The only downside is that it’s in a very central area, just a stone’s throw from the Leaning Tower and all the other attractions.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even meeting my gluten‑free food needs—something to keep in mind.
