We were very well welcomed. Our host gave us many addresses for dining and snorkeling, (we saw turtles and even a tuk‑tuk to visit the bird reserve without being expensive!)

In one sentence, arrival and feeling at ease. The reception is warm, almost family‑like communication happens. During the stay, unobtrusive suggestions for activities are offered and questions are answered gladly. The room and equipment are exactly as described. The house isn’t new, everything is well maintained and works flawlessly. From the outset, plenty of natural light and fresh air were considered; all rooms are spacious, sightlines are arranged so that privacy can be achieved anywhere. It’s quiet in Sunny Lanka. The dining room can be used for meals, but a guest can also work on a laptop there. The staff are always reachable and ready for a brief chat. In calmness and composure, everyone fulfills their duties. A kitchen is intended for guest catering, the other kitchen with gas stove, sink and fridge can be used by guests. Laundry service is available. In Sunny Lanka a sense of security quickly emerges, allowing time to be enjoyed relaxedly. All of this creates a harmonious atmosphere in an authentic place.

The family was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, and we could also have a Sri Lankan breakfast.

Just like on the photos. Very clean and cozy, even though the furnishings are very Spartan. A very nice family who genuinely cared about our well‑being. Friendly and helpful. We were able to experience several accommodations in Sri Lanka, and this one was truly very pleasant.

Owner Amar was very attentive to ensuring we had a good stay. Breakfast (which we had to purchase) was generous and reasonably priced.
