The manager kept in touch frequently, and after arriving the staff answered any questions quickly. The only downside was that the washing machine is outside, which might bother some people.

“We loved the amount of space for our family of 6”

The house was very spacious, situated in a quiet spot, and had everything you could possibly need. Although the station was within walking distance, it still took about 10‑15 minutes to get there.

The host waited for us at the arrival to hand over the keys and walk us through how the house worked. It was well equipped, featuring a washer, two showers, and two sinks—great for a large group. The place felt cozy and comfortable, with most rooms having futons except one that had a bed, yet I still recommend sleeping on the tatami. Ryoji kindly left the van we used for moving at the same entrance. The stay was perfect, and we would recommend it.

“Genoten van deze enorm ruime en voordelige prive-ruimte in Kyoto!”

The guesthouse was very spacious, with plenty of bedrooms (all with air‑conditioning) and bathrooms. It was well located near Kyoto’s station. The host was super friendly and helpful, and the price‑to‑quality ratio was excellent. It’s a real recommendation if you’re looking for accommodation for 5, 6, or more people in Kyoto. A relaxed sofa in the living room would be nice, and a bit more dishware and cutlery in the kitchen would help.
