The place is spacious, bright, very clean, and quiet. The owner is responsive and I loved it! It’s a bit of a walk from the Portuguese Camino, but only a 10 minute Uber ride gets you back to the trail.

The modern unit has great accommodations, and it’s handy to have a café downstairs for coffee and bakery goods. The sloped ceilings caused us to “bonk” our heads.

What I liked was the very good location of the accommodation, especially a bakery on the street next to the property that’s handy for a Portuguese breakfast, and the proximity to road networks—especially the route from Viana do Castelo to the beach and the city centre of Ponte de Lima. Everything is close, about 8 minutes by car from the city centre and the large stores.
