Located in central Östhammar, Johanssons Gårdshotell features free Wi-Fi, tastefully decorated rooms with TVs and private bathrooms, and some rooms with wooden floors, exposed beams, and cozy fireplaces. The hotel boasts a medieval garden with a 16th-century root cellar and 1700s stable. Bike rentals and free public parking are available on site, near the harbor area and Öregrunds Golf Club.

The place was beautifully furnished, incredibly cozy inside and out in the small courtyard, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was nice and cozy. The shower had a lot of lime deposits on both the shower head and the floor, which looked unpleasant.

A cozy little hotel. Small but charming rooms. Our room faced the courtyard and had its own terrace. The restaurant served fantastic, fine, and tasty food, and the breakfast was excellent.
