The S Block Condotel

I kept finding ants and tiny cockroaches everywhere—especially around the TV, desk, and sofa near the curtains. The sliding glass door wouldn’t lock, and a strong cigarette smell lingered near the hallway by the elevator. The sink in the bathroom was oddly slow to drain, as if it was about to leak.

“Ok hotel for 1 night”

The room was fine and the spot was great for grabbing a bite, but the walls were thin; I could hear the hallway and the rooms next door, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

It was a nice, quiet spot that offered great value for the price.

“There is a lot of unused potential”

The idea of mixing condo perks with short‑term hotel stays had a lot of promise, and the rooms were well designed for that. The pool table, small gym, and pool let guests stay active on site, and the overall design concept was solid. Unfortunately, the condo‑hotel hybrid wasn’t really realized: the rooms were basically empty furniture with no equipment, so the kitchen was useless, and there was no way to wash, iron, or hang clothes—hangers were so few that even one person staying longer than a weekend couldn’t manage. Plus, there were a lot of ants in the room and the cleaning crew didn’t sweep the floor at all during our week.

“Nice stay except for bugs”

The location was perfect, the place was modern and nice, but I did encounter tiny ants and a cockroach in the room, and the ants even got into my luggage—yuck.
