Cold water was available, the staff were very helpful, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small, not ensuite, and it was noisy outside until late and again early in the morning, especially with dogs barking.

I landed in the middle of town, right where the action is, and the free breakfast was a nice touch. The host was helpful, but booking for three people kept pulling up two rooms, so we thought we’d have the place to ourselves, only to find we had to share with other guests. The blanket we received looked and felt like curtains—see the photo. Another guest was sleeping in the common area that you have to walk past to reach the shared toilet, which made us uneasy, especially with a child. That guest snored loudly enough to hear in our room. Why allow guests to stay in the common area? The listing didn’t make it clear that the bathroom was shared, and there was a bad smell in the toilet, like old plumbing. We also heard tricycle noises at night and early in the morning. The host asked very personal questions and made personal comments; that’s common with Filipinos, but I wanted to warn those who might find it uncomfortable.

The location is great, but it’s always fully booked.

“Chambre confortable bon petit déjeuner”

The welcome was warm, the room and bathroom were clean, the breakfast was good and plentiful. Just put earplugs in the evening and early morning because of the traffic noise.
