“Would never choose to stay here again. If I could have got a refund, I would’ve went and found another hotel.”

The spot is right on the main strip, practically across from Dollar General with a crosswalk that makes it super convenient, and a gas station is just a short walk away. However, the room felt dirty and smelled awful, with cobwebs in every corner. The vintage “lodge” décor was cluttered and made the space feel worse. The layout wasted a lot of space, leaving only one small TV and poor seating. The bathroom was tiny compared to the rest of the room. The floor inside the door felt like it might collapse, and the door sill didn’t block the gap between the door and wall, so we could see into our room from the hallway and hear everyone outside, and vice versa.

“Will not stay there again”

The room itself was nice, but I was disappointed that the other restaurant wasn’t there. We don’t frequent bars, and that was the only thing available. I was looking forward to walking to breakfast, but had to walk completely around the building to see the creek. We’re in our 80s, and the only place to sit that wasn’t in the sun was a platform with seats on a stage, so we couldn’t really enjoy the creek like we did last year at another place. Better seating closer to the creek would let you enjoy the water and nature. I also didn’t like hearing all the motorcycles; those people like to congregate and stay up late. The TV programs weren’t great either.

“relaxing”

I liked almost everything, especially the site location. The only issues were that the washer and dryer, the ice machine, and the drink machines could use some fixing.

“Smoky Falls Heaven”

I love this great little hotel in Maggie Valley NC! It has a creek behind it and mountains all around!

I love the mountain and cabin feel of this place. I’ve stayed here many times before and it’s always nice! Every room has a fireplace.
