“Beautiful location, great guides, but not much else.”
The location was perfect, and the guide was awesome—he made the whole stay worthwhile and is the only reason we don't regret staying here. The tent was okay. The food was not good; my last meal consisted of a few sweet potatoes, fried avocado, and a couple of beet pieces. Dessert was a few rings of canned pineapple with whipped cream on top. The staff seemed clueless, though they were trying; they just lacked the proper tools. During lunch someone told us the Manager would be absent for dinner because he was sick, so I never met the Manager or Chef.
