Located in the heart of South Kensington, The Gore London - Starhotels Collezione is a 1892 boutique hotel with 50 lavishly-appointed bedrooms, each individually furnished with hand-picked pieces, period pictures, and ornate feature beds. The hotel features free WiFi, Italian luxury linens, and a restaurant serving classic British cuisine. It's a short walk from Kensington Palace, museums, and Knightsbridge boutiques, with the West End just 10 minutes away by bus or Tube.

The location was great relative to the Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park, and the room decor was beautiful, yet the next room’s decorating started early with some banging around.

The staff were great and the location was ideal for the Royal Albert Hall, though the bath drained away as soon as it was filled; otherwise, it was fantastic.
