The host was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the communal kitchen had a coffee machine and kettle with accessories. However, there was dirty dishware with food residue left in the kitchen – this issue belongs to other guests, not the host.

“Unser Highlight an der Donau !!!”

We spent four wonderful nights at the Donau Pension and were completely blown away by the artistic creativity that decorates the rooms. The powerful, warm, and very kind host made our stay unforgettable – thank you! We had breakfast at the Lädele, a special highlight, and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere and excellent service. On Sunday we ate in the pension’s lounge. The large, well-equipped communal kitchen featured two seating areas, coffee, tea, fresh plums from the garden, and many other free treats. There was plenty of information about the surroundings, and the neighbor offered great pizza or Turkish specialties. The location was perfect, and overall this is a hidden gem.
