The location and staff were good, the food was decent, but from 8 am to 10 pm there was a constant thump of music and no quiet afternoon on the hammock because a speaker had been installed there; the closed room couldn’t completely block the bass frequencies.

What breakfast? We had a smoke alarm that kept going off for two days, which the staff addressed, and the new room had some cockroaches.

The front desk were not cooperative and they were unclear about payment; I had to pay extra fees that weren’t shown online, even though they said they would charge the same as online.

I loved the location, the bars, the music, and the nearby restaurants – it was very fun – and the staff were amazingly nice and welcoming! The hotel needs remodeling; the rooms need attention to detail; some drawers don’t work; handles in some restrooms fall off; sliding doors don’t lock; new taller toilets are needed; new couches in the room are needed; the Rum Fish needs a store like the sister store next door that sells goodies, wine, and food to go. I come from a beautiful home, so arriving at what seems to be beautiful, I wouldn’t stay somewhere that isn’t as nice just because I’m used to good and nice. Being on the beach, making sure those rooms are kept up is a must!
