The location is great and the building is fabulous, but the plumbing was awful—no hot water and only a trickle from the shower.

The hotel sits quietly on Richmond Hill with lovely balcony views, a huge comfy bed, a good bath and shower, and convenient parking; we even got a high floor as requested. The pre‑authorisation for more than the invoice took several days to clear from my card after checkout, and breakfast was expensive, though there are other options nearby.

The location is amazing, especially if you want to explore quieter parts of London; you can see meadows with cows right outside the door, enjoy nice cafés, and walk a few minutes to the city. The staff are very friendly and the interior design leaves nothing to wish for—no wonder many stars have stayed here. The breakfast, however, is very expensive, and for the price you expect larger portions and better quality; the English Breakfast, for example, was dry, so it’s better to eat in town.

I liked everything about The Petersham Hotel. Friendly welcome on arrival, lovely standard room and the hotel looks so beautiful inside! The restaurant food was amazing and great service at all times! A great place to stay and visit!. Nothing not to like
