Marinha Garden Inn - AL

“Prático, funcional e acolhedor”

The room was generally clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable and the air‑conditioning worked. Self‑check‑in and key‑code entry were practical and efficient. The lobby and room access always had daytime background music and a pleasant scent, creating a welcoming vibe. Having iron, board, and a microwave was very convenient. The lady who assisted in the dining room was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple but tasty and complete. There was no liquid soap dispenser in the WC sink; only one in the shower.

Location. A step in the bathroom. Semi‑clogged drain.

“Confortável, excelente relação preço/qualidade, localização perfeita”

Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The room was small but very clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower quite large (though it seems to vary by room). The air‑conditioning was flawless. It was more than enough for a solo traveler or a couple. On the 3rd floor there was a comfortable terrace with a lounge area. A Multibanco was next to the entrance of the AL, 200 m on foot from Burger King, 400 m from the Marinha Centre, and I could reach the snooker club where the tournament was held in 3 min by car. That made the location perfect for me. Plenty of parking in front and on the side of the building, no issues during my visits. Overall satisfied, and since I’ll be back during the sports season, I think it’s a great option with excellent cost‑quality ratio. It needs better finishes. There’s no elevator. It didn’t bother me, but the cemetery on the opposite side of the street might confuse some people. I still parked around the cemetery, so it wasn’t a problem for me. Friends who know the place say the garden next to the cemetery isn’t the most frequented, but I didn’t notice anything unusual. There’s an Indian restaurant below, but I didn’t smell any food, and occasionally some people were there who didn’t make anyone uncomfortable; they just lived their lives.

Location. The room was too small.

The bed was comfortable. The linens were soft. Breakfast was acceptable. The breakfast attendant was polite and helpful. Cleaning was poor. Price‑quality ratio. It would be acceptable only up to 50 € maximum. No bedside lamp. The first assigned room had a broken glass and damaged blinds. The TV didn’t work.
