The caretaker deserves a raise—he’s a lovely bloke! The bed is comfortable and the linens feel crisp and fresh.

The room was spotless and everything felt tidy, which I appreciated. It's one of the few places that will take you for just a single night, so that was handy. The only downside was the price – a bit higher than I'd like.

Location couldn't be better – just a stone's throw from the town centre. The staff were upbeat and made both check‑in and check‑out a breeze, and the room was tidy and stocked for a short stay, so I felt I got good value. The only gripe was hearing some chatter from neighboring rooms, which is typical for a motel.
