The self‑check‑in instructions were clear. The facility felt homey yet was clean and comfortable. It was very close to the various Normandy D‑Day sites. It could use more charging ports by the dorm beds.

The place is friendly, the kitchen is well stocked, the quiet outdoor area is nice, and the price is good for the quality. The dorm room and the ground‑floor shower lack light.

“A decent night's sleep”

The host sent a note before arrival saying they might not be there to greet me, and they gave clear instructions for getting in. It turned out to be more like an Airbnb because I ended up with the whole place to myself! I would have liked power outlets in the room to charge my phone, but I had to do that downstairs. The stairs could use a bit of attention 😳
