EL SUEÑO RESORT

We booked the Villa and found it spacious and spotless, with staff who were friendly and courteous. The complimentary dinner that came with our reservation tasted great, and the bathroom, room, and pool were all clean; the air conditioning worked well. However, the curtains didn’t block out sunlight, the doors were difficult to close and had gaps with the frames, and the pillows were uncomfortable. Ants swarmed the seating area and courtyard, ruining our outdoor meal, and getting a tricycle or tuk‑tuk to Dauin was tough because it’s a short walk to the main road; arriving on a Sunday made finding transport even harder.

“Beautiful, relaxing place with clean accommodations and modern comforts!”

We were blown away by the stunning location of El Sueno, right on the water with a dive boat offshore that offered breathtaking underwater views. The staff's attention to detail was exceptional, and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. If I have one complaint, it's that the road sign for the resort is a bit misleading - there's a sign for a different resort, and it took us a while to find El Sueno. But overall, it's a quiet and secluded gem that's definitely worth a visit.

“Reposant”

The breakfast spread was seriously impressive – they really loaded up the buffet table. The only downside was the noise from the nearby street, which made it hard to sleep in. Still, the generous breakfast made up for it.

We loved the ambiance of this place, and the food was a real bargain - delicious and cheap! The staff were also super friendly and helpful, always willing to lend a hand. If I have one complaint, it's that the kitchen isn't open 24/7, which was a bit of a bummer.

“Very nice hotel, staff was very accommodating”

We were really impressed with the cleanliness of this place, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The views were great, and the location was perfect. They even offered to store our luggage while we explored, and let us shower and change after we checked out. Breakfast was also a highlight - good food and a great atmosphere. If I have one complaint, it's that the rooms were a bit small, and the hot water ran out fast.
