The staff were friendly, the breakfast was great, and I loved how the facility’s décor blended modern amenities like wifi and TV into a 1885 house. The only issue was that the toilet paper holder needed repair, and the toilet itself was very low‑style and hard to get up from.

The breakfast was amazing, the room was roomy and comfortable, and downtown was within easy walking distance. The bathroom lacked hooks.

The whole atmosphere was loved; it felt so personal and the staff were wonderful.

My room and bed were super comfortable. The bathroom was small but sparkling clean. The breakfast was delicious and my gluten‑free request was beautifully accommodated. I arrived late, wanted to just microwave a frozen dinner and sleep, and they told me to make myself at home, which was wonderful after 12 hours of driving. I was just passing through, so I didn’t explore the location.

This property is wonderful, very well maintained, super peaceful and comfortable, with lovely staff and breakfast. It’s a little far from Shenandoah NP, which was the reason for my visit, but the drive is pleasant. Be prepared that places to eat around in the town are limited.
