The place is super quiet – perfect if you just want to unwind – and the staff were genuinely helpful. Getting to the beach and the market was easy enough even though the hotel is out in the sticks, and breakfast was solid. The only real hassle was finding the entrance; the signage is pretty weak out there. Also, the windows that look onto the pool need thicker glass because the wind up on the hill makes them rattle all night, which makes falling asleep a bit of a chore.

Nothing good to say – the room was dirty, the curtains were stained, the door was broken, and the walls were grimy. The tiny, old wardrobe did nothing for storage, the bed was filthy and uncomfortable, and the shared bathroom offered no privacy at all. We checked out the same hour we arrived because there was no one at reception, and I’m still waiting for a refund.

“PÉSSIMA, TENEBROSA, HORRIPILANTE”
The view was the only thing that made sense; everything else felt off, so we left after less than two hours, even though we’d booked a romantic night for my wife and me. The whole place was filthy – torn sheets, rotten curtains, dirty windows, exposed wiring, and a fan that seemed more like a decoration than anything useful. The room door stuck, the lock was just a flimsy latch, and the bathroom was a shared mess with zero privacy.

The view from the blue room was nice, but the staff didn’t speak Portuguese – a Chilean and a Colombian were trying to help but it was a struggle. The pool was dirty and not usable, and the outdoor area looked neglected. Breakfast fell short of expectations as well.
