The host was very welcoming, and there’s a campsite near Pompeii that gave us a free day’s parking—awesome. The only hiccup was that Chinese tourists don’t have the WhatsApp app, so communication was a bit difficult.

The Dimora Santo Stefano was a fantastic spot, Stefano was the nicest host and offered a lift to the city each morning (I was traveling without a car). The place was clean and tidy, and the outdoor garden was lovely, perfect for a morning coffee. A great place with great people, I’ll return! The only downside was the lack of space to unpack—no wardrobe—so it was sometimes hard to keep the room tidy with clothes around. A rack or a string outside in the garden to hang things to dry would be a nice addition.

“Best budget acomodation in Pompei”

Stefano was an outstanding host, giving us directions, recommendations, and even pointing out a parking spot close to the Pompei Ruins. There was nothing else to note.
