The owners and all staff were very kind. The rooms lack unnecessary luxury but are impeccably cleaned, fully equipped, and especially comfortable with the beds. My family and I booked the entire pension (four rooms), so the spacious common hallway was a bonus. Each room has a fold‑out sofa that can become a double bed, so it’s easy to host up to four people per room. Breakfast was flawless; because the pension is small, everything was freshly made and hot—eggs, sausages, coffee, tea—plus extra items were readily available upon request. The attached restaurant is a must‑visit: the meat grilled over the fireplace right in front of us was superb. A short walk takes you to Hukvaldy Castle, and for longer excursions around the area, walking, biking, driving, or taking the bus from this base is ideal. A warning: one room is next to the fireplace where the restaurant cooks, so it stays warm. We stayed it with the cold‑tolerant part of our family, who appreciated it, but someone else might find it too hot.

The mandle-ani were a bit annoying, but that wasn’t on the menu; we found out the time for the Sunday mass. Huge thanks, we’ll definitely come back!

We’ve been here many times and definitely not the last. We’re always satisfied, not just with the accommodation but also with the restaurant. The staff, as always, were very kind and helpful. Since last year a new “kitchenette” was added to the hallway. We recommend it to everyone!
