“Old English style hotel close to central Christchurch”

The room was huge, giving us plenty of space for all our luggage. The bathroom was a good size with an excellent walk‑in shower. Breakfast was included and very good, offering a pretty good selection. The location is a short walk or bus ride from Christchurch centre.

The stay was very spacious and the breakfast was good. The accommodation could be a bit cleaner, but it wasn’t overly bad.

The room was spacious. The hot water ran out, leaving us with cold water.

“Not going to come back anymore to this place.”

The room and service staff were good, but the rat problem was awful. The kitchen and food were absolutely horrible; the same dish of salami and cheese was served for five days, the food was off and could cause food poisoning.

The rooms were generous and the staff were friendly. The location was too far from the centre if you’re walking.
