Vadstena Vandrarhem-Hostel

“Vi kommer gärna tillbaka och ska rekommendera vandrarhemmet till vänner.”

The hostel was clean and tidy. I didn’t meet any staff, so I can’t comment on that. The decor was cozy and the kitchen was nice for breakfast. The cleaning instructions were clear. The beds could have been replaced, but they were fine.

The staff were great! A beautiful bouquet of flowers with candles at the reception was so welcoming. The kitchen lacked a dish rack and more dish towels, but otherwise it was nice.

“Prisvärt boende”

The location was close to Pilgrimscentrum and Klosterkyrkan. The rooms were bright and fresh. The room smelled like perfume when I arrived, but it aired out.

“Mukava paikka, jonne voisin mennä uudestaan!”

The room was really spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helped me whenever I asked for assistance. The location was great for my trip and everything worked out nicely. However, the room was dusty, and I found the previous guest’s belongings—an envelope—next to the bed. In the shower, the water took a really long time to get hot.

“Helt okey, lugnt och tyst, nära till allt och alla...”

It was only 10 meters from the parking to the bed, the setting was calm, and the shower heat was good. I have no complaints about the beds, though they felt a bit like a princess on peas. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast available at this time of year, which is understandable. Some small details on the walls gave a slightly hospital‑room vibe.
