Dila Beach Resort

“Helpful staff, good location”

The accommodation was clean and comfortable, situated in a great spot with a short, direct walk to the beach; the room had air conditioning, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you plan to pay at the hotel, bring cash because they don’t accept cards, but there’s an ATM about a 10‑minute walk away.

“Fantastic location, great staff and huge clean rooms . Excellent couple of nights stay”

The property was beautiful, with huge, spotless rooms and helpful staff. The location was excellent—a short stroll to the beach and a good selection of restaurants. On our last day we had breakfast, which was truly delicious with plenty of lovely Sri Lankan options like milk honey hoppers. We would definitely recommend staying here. However, there was a miscommunication about one of the rooms, which was not ideal after a long journey from Arugam Bay; the owner apologized and tried to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

The hotel manager was fantastic, helping organize tours and even cooking the fish we caught on a fishing trip; he was always happy to help and made the place feel like home.

“Goede locatie om te overnachten, maar niet om overdag te verblijven”

The location was good, but there was little atmosphere and room service was requested.
