The location was great, the host was friendly, and the pets were the friendliest. Nothing else.

The hostel sits on the edge of town, so it stays quiet. The owner chats a lot and is friendly. I got a dorm all to myself for the two nights, which was a treat. The accommodations are very basic and the area isn’t part of the old town. The owner keeps cats and dogs, and the dogs can be quite noisy. Plus there are no lockers, so you have to keep your valuables on you all the time.

I had a very good experience at this place. The location was excellent for someone like me who needed to catch the train early for Machu Picchu, because it’s very close to the station. In addition, the cost‑benefit was excellent. The host was very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I also got to make friends with a group of Brazilian women staying in a dedicated female room. It was a great experience that made the trip even more special. I don’t have any specific negatives to point out. I liked the accommodation a lot and had no problems during my stay.

Great, cozy accommodation with an incredibly nice owner! Two dogs, a cat, and a rabbit live in the place.
