“Fabulous stay. All perfect.”
The apartment was fabulous. The owner welcomed us warmly and arranged a whale‑boat trip for us within minutes of arrival. The trip was brilliant and reasonably priced. She was kind, helpful, changed money for us, and full of advice. The room is spacious, clean, has great air‑conditioning, and a nice bathroom. The restaurant below serves great food and the whole place feels like a loving family. Very welcoming. The beach and other restaurants and bars are all just a short walk. We enjoyed our stay here very much and recommend it highly. Thanks to Nona and the rest of the family. Roger and Di.
“A Peaceful and Comfortable Stay in Mirissa – Highly Recommended!”
I’m writing this review for my parents, whom I helped book. We stayed with my wife from March 13 to 28 2025. Even before the trip, host Prabodi contacted us and we set up a chat; many issues were resolved. She responded promptly before and during our stay. The apartment’s location is very convenient, just a 5–6 min walk to the beach and a 12–15 min walk to Gargills Food City supermarket. Most importantly, it’s quiet, with no road noise or evening beach entertainment. We especially liked the spacious, clean apartment with everything you might need, the summer kitchen for breakfast and dinner by the ocean and birdsongs, and the amusing wildlife that visited—herons, chipmunks, monkeys, peacocks, and many exotic birds whose singing was pure pleasure. Prabodi was kind and attentive, helped with everything, arranged airport transfers and ensured the car arrived on time. When we left, she brought us bananas and a souvenir magnet for our daughter—a very sweet gesture. I DEFINITELY recommend this apartment for comfort and seclusion.
“Good and central location”
We spent three nights in Magee apartment and it had everything we needed. The kitchen and dining area were on the balcony, which felt super cozy. The host was very nice, welcoming and hospitable, and she was also very proactive. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return to Sri Lanka. The family next door, who are incredibly nice, offer Sri Lankan breakfast at a good price, served on the balcony, so you won’t leave hungry. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

I highly recommend staying in this apartment. It feels like staying with family and is in a great spot for the beach and town. Prabodee is beautiful, as is her mother, brother, and sister‑in‑law who live next door. Their communication is incredible without being intrusive; they want to help with everything, including transport at the best price. The place is clean and quiet, and the outdoor kitchen has everything you could need. There’s a gate now to keep the dogs out, but the friendly dogs greet you on the way in. Thank you for the warm hospitality; we won’t forget our special time in Mirissa.
