“Séjour formidable”

The room was spotless, and the lake view was absolutely stunning. I asked for an extra pillow and the staff brought it right to the room. Breakfast was very complete, even offering lactose‑free milk.

The location works for getting to Thun, Bern, and the Jungfrau area. The whole place feels old‑fashioned; the bathroom is antiquated and a shower is nearly impossible for someone of average height. Furniture is damaged—missing doorknob, peeled veneer—and the lighting is mediocre, lacking individual bedside lamps. The restaurant looks outdated, serving cheap Ute and plates. Breakfast quality is poor, choices are limited, items run out constantly and are not always restocked.
