The staff were genuinely friendly and always ready to help, which made checking in a breeze. Unfortunately, the room had a strong moldy odor— even the fresh sheets smelled like they’d been stored away, and the area around the bed reeked of dampness, as if the mattress never gets pulled for cleaning. It was a real let‑down after such good service.

“Medio para abajo”

The spot is great—right where you want to be—but the owners’ service left a lot to be desired. Breakfast was lackluster, the housekeeping was spotty, and we weren’t given any blankets at all. Overall, the location saved the stay, but the basic comforts fell short.

We appreciated the simple coffee and the genuinely kind staff, and the location couldn’t have been better. The downside was the cramped triple room and a bathroom that felt impossibly tiny. It was a decent base, just not spacious enough for three.

From day one, the Pousada Corais da Barra felt like a home away from home, thanks to its prime spot near the beach, restaurants, and tours. Rose and the whole team treated us with a rare kindness, paying attention to every little detail and handling every request with care. It’s a modest place, but it gave us exactly the comfort and warmth we needed, and we left feeling grateful.

“Instalações simples, bem limpas. Atendimento simpatico e excelente”

The standout was definitely the service—everyone made us feel welcome and taken care of right away. The only hassle was the building itself: you have to climb a flight of stairs just to reach the reception with your luggage, then another set to get to the rooms. It’s a small price to pay for such attentive staff.
