Amazing b&b to relax and take a deep breath, calm and quiet area to take relax and enjoy the view. The rooms are amazing, big, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff are amazing, the hostess is the most welcoming and heartwarming, made our stay relax and carefree. Bonus tip: must try her tiramisu dessert! :)

“Everthing was excellent”

The property was stunning, with beautiful rooms and an amazing view. Everything was decorated and furnished with love, taste, and quality in mind. The service and breakfast were absolutely lovely. It’s truly a dream destination. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like. The cherry on top would have been an option to have lunch or dinner on site so one could stay all day up there 😃

The setting was beautiful and the views were spectacular. The hotel was wonderfully decorated. The drive was steep and you needed a car to get anywhere.

“Wonderful elegant home away from home!”

The place is absolutely fantastic! The setting is gorgeous, the décor is lovely, and Cecile, the owner, is incredibly welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous—spacious, tastefully decorated, spotless, with a super comfy bed, quiet air‑con, and great views. With only five rooms, the hotel feels very peaceful and friendly. The breakfast terrace is divine, especially the view, and the pool area is excellent, stocked with plenty of loungers and umbrellas while overlooking the valley. There’s no on‑site restaurant, though you can arrange a private chef beforehand; breakfast is tasty and abundant, and there’s a decent selection of wine, beer, and soft drinks for purchase. Cecile suggested visiting Mougins for dinner one night, which was perfect. The hotel sits up a narrow, winding drive, but you can always park at the bottom if you’re not a confident driver. Ubers are easy to get, arriving within five minutes each time, so you can head out for dinner or trips to nearby villages or sites—rides only stop at the gate at the bottom of the drive, a three‑minute walk. All in all, the hotel felt like a private villa with a friendly host, a truly restful break. I’ll definitely come back. It would be nice to have a restaurant on site for lunch and dinner, but since Uber is readily available and local eateries are just 15 minutes away, it’s not a major issue.

Everything was 100% perfect! The property is beautiful and well maintained. The host and her daughter were super friendly. The breakfast was outstanding, with a keen eye for detail. Thank you so much for the dreamlike days at the Bastide!
