“Mixed Experience”

The spot is convenient, close to Coimbra University and the Praca de Republica metro bus stop, and the breakfast was pretty good. Early in the morning, before 8 AM, I could hear street‑level noise from young people, probably students, loitering in front of the donor kebab restaurant next to the hotel. Some front‑desk staff spoke English well, but in two cases they struggled to communicate with me. I might pick a hotel in the Baixa next time, because walking back to the hotel is hard with the elevator. Still, the metro bus can take you to Praca de Republica and Ubers are cheap.

I appreciate that the hotel offers a pool and a wonderful lounge to relax and read in peace, plus free parking. It’s a relief not to hunt for a spot because the parking is right next to the aqueduct and botanical garden, where finding space is tough. I’ve had a very comfortable stay and can’t think of anything to add.

The receptionist was super attentive, the breakfast and parking were excellent, but the room wasn’t ready for two nights—no idea why.

“Simpatičen manjši hotel v bližini znamenitosti”

Lokacija hotela je odlična za obisk univerze Coimbra (10 min hoje). Tudi do starega dela mesta je blizu (15 min hoje). Hotel ima garažno hišo, je pa možno brezplačno parkirati tudi pred hotelom. Zajtrk je bil zelo okusen, na voljo je bilo veliko svežega sadja. Hotel ima tudi notranji bazen (žal voda ni ogrevana)
