Hotel Nakshathra- A Royal Stay

Absolutely terrible stay definitely NOT a “Royal Stay”! Extremely disappointing and not worth the money. Despite being called Hotel Nakshatra The Royal Stay, there was absolutely nothing “royal” about this place. The name is seriously misleading. The cleanliness was terrible , hair in the bathroom, an unwashed bucket, dust, unpleasant smell and far too many bugs. We complained and were made to check 3 different rooms before finding one that was somewhat acceptable. Even the replacement room had a TV that wasn’t working, and it took an unnecessarily long time for a technician to come. And the breakfast was absolutely the worst , very poor quality and not something we could enjoy. Overall, the hotel is poorly maintained, unhygienic and the service was extremely disappointing. Definitely not a royal stay, more like a stay we wish we had never booked. We will NEVER stay here again and absolutely do NOT recommend this hotel

very near to Palani Temple access road from were you get Battery vehicles to go to Winch Station or Rope care or starting point to climb the steps to reach the hill temple. I found it difficult to finde local autos after10 in night

“Great place to stay at on palani visit”

Good place near the temple. Rooms are good and maintained. The breakfast at room wasn't mention while booking. The staffs agreed for breakfast at restaurant as we are checking out early. But at the time of breakfast they charged extra for the breakfast

“Not worth the money spent”

The staff were friendly and tried to fix the issues, but the stay didn’t justify the cost. I had to switch rooms because the original one didn’t meet standards, and the new room smelled bad all night, making it uncomfortable overall. Breakfast was terrible, and since the hotel is separate, they only offered a breakfast coupon.

This place is super convenient for visiting the Palani temple, and the room was spacious and spotless. The restaurant serves vegetarian options, and there’s plenty of parking for cars.
