“Value for money, location was good for us, very friendly owners and all the essentials were there for us.”
The hosts were lovely, very friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean to a high standard; everything we needed was available. Having a bit of rooftop space in the city was nice, and although the street was busy, the location was great for being close to shops, restaurants, and the ferry stop to Valletta. We appreciated the snacks and drinks at reception that we could buy. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize when booking that the private bathroom wasn’t in our room—it was down a flight of stairs. The bathroom was small but well appointed and clean, yet it was inconvenient to visit at night and have to dress up again if other people were around. The road the bedroom faced was very busy, even at night, which made it hard to sleep. Breakfast was included, but we skipped it because it was very basic and the coffee didn’t suit us; it’s still nice that they offer it. There are plenty of places nearby for coffee and food.
The hosts were fantastic and made us feel at home; the townhouse was in a great area for getting around. Nothing else to add.
The hosts were excellent and ready to meet guests’ needs.
“Soha többet”
Overall, the stay was disappointing. The terrace door couldn’t be closed, there was barely any space to unpack, and the bathroom was a half‑floor above. The breakfast, which was part of the booking, was unavailable for most of our stay, even though it was a key factor in our choice. They promised a partial refund, but the communication about it was slow and passive‑aggressive, and we had to follow up on the progress ourselves.
“El hecho de tener el baño fuera de la habitación y tener escaleras muy empinadas para acceder a la habitación ( o bajar”
The position, cleanliness, and staff were great, but the stairs were an issue.
